- All headphones and earphones are sold and shipped by Amazon
On Prime Day 2022, Amazon is offering great deals on select Sony wearable audio devices:
How much do you actually save on Sony headphones for sale?
The WH-1000XM4 we tested is Sony’s flagship Bluetooth headphone, and it’s one of the best consumer headphones in terms of ANC and sound quality. The price crossed out of €279 was not inflated by Amazon, but rather was found to be more than €300 before Prime Day 2022. So the actual €41 markdown is very interesting.
The WF-1000XM3 is a high-end true wireless headphones and, although a bit “outdated”, is still an excellent reference, especially at a price of less than 100 euros. The €129 cross-listed price offered by Amazon isn’t inflated either, as can be seen on the Keepa platform. So you will save 36 euros.
The WF-LS9000 or LinkBuds S I tested recently is a more “light” mid-range version of the WF-1000. They came out this year so it’s surprising to see them go on sale soon. On the contrary, the price written off of 179 euros is not inflated, as Keepa notes that these headphones were found at a price of 199 euros before Prime Day 2022. So the real savings are already 30 euros.
The LinkBuds are true open-format wireless headphones that are meant to replicate the on-ear headphone format. The idea is to allow surrounding sounds to pass through and not block your ear canal. The cross price of €179 is correct again and the actual reduction is €38.
Are sellers of these promos reliable?
All Sony wireless headphones and headphones are sold and shipped directly from Amazon. So you don’t have to worry about the reliability of these offers.
