Marketing and Labeling Project Manager | fake house

The Project Manager will be primarily responsible for following up on the development and implementation of advertising campaigns (mainly focused on digital marketing) for presentations and sound recordings of La maison fauve, will collaborate in the creation of the branding image of the projects and will coordinate the different versions of the poster.

Main tasks

  • Define, organize and direct the design and implementation activities of marketing plans for releases of sound recordings and artist tours in accordance with established deadlines and budgets;
  • Collaboration with management and artist: developing the projects image and following up with various stakeholders (photographers, graphic designers, etc.), then producing the variations for all artist platforms;
  • Defining and implementing the digital strategy for ongoing projects and the company on various platforms (social networks, broadcast platforms, Google ads, newsletters, website, etc.);
  • Make all reservations and negotiations regarding media placement and media partnerships;
  • Analyze the results of marketing campaigns and adjust media plans and digital strategies to achieve goals;
  • Oversee communications to ensure consistency of the projects and company image through all marketing and communications activities;
  • Develop and monitor detailed promotional budgets and ensure that expenditures are calculated according to the various projects;
  • Follow up with bidders regarding promotional requests and ensure that marketing communications strategies for offers are applied during the tour;
  • Ensure relationships with external suppliers and invoice processing (graphic designers, web designers, printers, photographers, press officers, radio trackers, etc.);
  • Collaborate on and complete grant applications in relation to project marketing;
  • Ensure continuous monitoring and analysis of the competitive environment, consumer trends in the industry, new products, digital platforms, their evolution and product positioning in order to guide marketing actions.


  • Follow up with some suppliers to produce audio recordings occasionally (mixing, mastering, etc.);
  • Follow up with graphic designers and photographers to design the covers;
  • Follow up with suppliers for the manufacture of records and vinyl;
  • Manage the production of music videos (help find the director, production company, etc. and manage deadlines with them);
  • Submit various video and audio recordings in the distributor portal.
  • Follow up with distributor and broadcast platforms for new releases and participate in developing distribution strategies.

Requirements and profile

  • Undergraduate education in communications, marketing or related fields;
  • A minimum of four (4) years experience in marketing or any other relevant position in the field of music or entertainment;
  • Fluency in French and English, both orally and in writing;
  • Advanced knowledge of social networks and broadcasting platforms;
  • Creativity, artistic sense and passion for music and performances;
  • a sense of organization and priorities, the ability to work on several files at once;
  • Independence and flexibility regarding schedules (occasional work in the evenings, weekends);
  • master the office suite;
  • Knowledge of the distribution of audio recordings (presentation material);
  • Knowledge of graphics and video editing software (an asset).


  • Permanent position 5 days a week, working remotely and face to face.
  • Start work: as soon as possible.
  • Salary: From $50,000 depending on experience.
