The Bon Départ de Canadian Tire du Québec Foundation is looking for Communications and Marketing Technician. Under the responsibility of the CEO and in close collaboration with the Communications Consultant, the incumbent of this new position will be involved in the development and implementation of all communications and marketing projects for the organization. The wanted person is recognized for his dynamism, attention to detail, effective management of priorities, as well as his ability to create and maintain relationships.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Analyzing requests, conducting research, coordinating follow-up processes and ensuring that the various communication and marketing tools of the organization are produced, in both print and digital form, as well as ensuring that they are transmitted correctly;
  • Conducting quality control of the information transmitted by the enterprise and ensuring the appropriate use of the brand image;
  • Support the organization of the Foundation’s fundraising activities, including developing, promoting and updating the annual calendar of events;
  • Updating and compiling data related to communication and marketing projects, including the website and social networks, in addition to issuing periodic statistical reports.
  • Ensure coordination between the organization and its affiliate groups, partners and suppliers with the aim of enhancing the coherence of communication and marketing strategies;
  • Prepare production estimates and participate in setting budgets and schedules as well as ensuring that they are respected;
  • Keeping abreast of new trends, new tools and best practices in communication and marketing, particularly in the philanthropic field;
  • Perform duties and respond to relevant requests and directions from his immediate superior.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • University Diploma in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations or any training considered equivalent;
  • Two years of relevant experience;
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Proficiency in French (oral and written) and functional proficiency in English (oral and written);
  • Great ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously;
  • Excellent judgment, rigor and diplomacy.
