About the position

We are looking for someone with the skills and experience to prepare and implement marketing plans in order to drive Solios, both in our main market and in our own, while demonstrating the greatest potential; They are California, New York, the rest of Canada, London and Australia.

As a natural leader, we are looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial, analytical person infused with the reality of a startup company. You will be part of the first 10 employees of a startup that shows over 100% growth annually.

Basic requirements

Have at least 6 to 8 years of experience in marketing, communication, strategy or any other experience considered relevant.

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication or any other related field.
  2. They have experience in team management and project management.
  3. Impeccable spoken and written French and English.
  4. Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage ambiguity, and stay focused on execution.
  6. A highly developed sense of organization and planning.
  7. Sense of initiative and independence.
  8. In-depth knowledge of e-commerce and all related strategies/platforms: Google Analytics, Social Media Platforms (all), email and newsletter platform, Shopify, etc.
  9. Ability to swing between high-level team management and implementation work.
  10. You have a great environmental and ethical concern.
  11. You have a desire to actively participate in the development of the company’s culture.

Description of responsibilities

Participate in creating, organizing, publishing and analyzing a complete marketing strategy in order to profitably lead our new markets beyond our existing ones. From social media growth, to email strategies, to product launches or even developing or publishing a campaign calendar, your role will be to oversee the improvement of our marketing efforts and resources, and at times, to get your hands on the mud. You will begin your assignment with: two (2) Graphic Designers, one (1) Digital Growth Manager (SEM, SMM, SEO) and one (1) Web Developer – plus co-founders and one (1) Customer Satisfaction Manager.

Salary and benefits

Flexible and determined by candidate experience – Our base compensation is market determined. Our variable compensation is performance dependent, individual and group. The revenue growth criterion combined with the effectiveness of marketing initiatives criterion will be evaluated for variable compensation.
