Governor Whitmer announced a partnership with Google to provide free job training to Michigan residents

Lansing, Michigan. – TToday, Governor Gretchen Whitmer joined forces with the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) to announce a new partnership with Google to connect 500 local job seekers with free access to Google Job Certifications Training to help Michigan residents find high-paying, in-demand jobs in developing fields.

“Google Career 500 certifications will help Michiganders embark on a free path to high-paying jobs in high-growth fields such as data analytics, digital marketing, e-commerce, IT support, project design or user experience,” he said.
