The second edition of SAPE will take place from 13-15 October 2022 in Ouagadougou. To this end, the organizing committee spoke with the media on Wednesday 27 July 2022, to give the main lines of this second edition.
The second edition of the Advertising and Publishing Exhibition was developed under the slogan: “The Impact of Digital Technology on Advertising and Publishing Professions. Challenges and Issues”. This topic, according to the organizers, will allow players in the sector to discuss the opportunities and challenges presented by digital, and discuss the impact of digital on the development of jobs and on the current economic model and its evolution.
Thus, for three days, experts, equipment and service suppliers, financiers and decision makers will discuss this central topic as well as other committees. Participants will also be able to enhance their abilities through various workshops and master classes.
According to Christophe Mesmer Yamogo, Managing Director of Impulsion, a consulting agency and promoter of advertising and publishing fair, SAPE’s goal is to highlight national champions in advertising and publishing. He noted that in this second edition, in addition to seminars and exhibitions, training aimed at specialists from companies and agencies has been integrated.

“We have three main categories of training related to the impact of advertising investments and the evaluation of these advertising actions. We have a category of training that will be concerned with the customer experience and how to improve that experience in order to increase employee turnover.”
Eight training sessions with a maximum of 15 participants per training will also be organized. These sessions will be moderated by four experts from Burkina Faso and four others from abroad.
“It should be noted that in addition to seminars and training, participants will enhance their capabilities through various workshops and master classes, with meetings and exhibitions between companies. Advertising and Publishing Fair is an opportunity for young people to be discovered through their talents. The organizing committee decided to reward the best talent in six categories, including This includes the Smartphone Photos category for those under the age of 25. He added that for the other five categories, you must be between 18 and 30 years old to participate in competitions in the Creative Images, Voiceover, Graphic Design, Digital Creativity and in my categories Videos 2b and 3b”. .
For this second edition, Guinea is the guest of honor.
As a reminder, the Advertising and Publishing Fair is a major event that brings together players in the field of marketing, advertising, media, graphic arts and publishing in Burkina Faso. It was launched in 2021. It is a space for networking, job opportunities, exchange of experiences, capacity building and scouting for young talents. It is also a space to discover technical and technological innovations and to learn about local businesses and those located elsewhere.
