The Quebec Tourism Industry Alliance is a private, non-profit organization of more than 10,000 companies united among 45 regional, sectoral and affiliated partners. Official spokesperson for this entire economic sector since 2016, representing and coordinating them to support and drive industry performance while participating in the development of the destination’s tourism offering and marketing.

Through the Bonjour Québec brand, and its efforts to market the destination for which the Ministry of Tourism (MTO) is the partner agent, the alliance aims to make Québec a thriving, sustainable and responsible tourism destination in the world.

Are you an expert in digital ecosystems? Are you passionate about content and want to help promote the province of Quebec by broadcasting digital campaigns on different platforms?

By joining Bonjour Québec’s mixed digital team, your strategic side and innate sense of collaboration will be brought to life in your daily tasks. You will have the opportunity to contribute, in your own way and with your personality, to the creation and implementation of publishing strategies that will stand out from the crowd. You will have a key role in helping Quebec establish itself as a world-class travel destination.

Your task:

  • Propose and implement a coherent content distribution strategy through the digital platforms of the Bonjour Québec ecosystem;
  • Collaborate with digital team members, alliance stakeholders, MTO team, and tourism industry partners

What will your weeks look like with us:

  • Develop relevant content strategies to achieve performance objectives for Bonjour Québec digital platforms, including website, social media, blog and newsletter;
  • Support the implementation and contribute to the improvement of the content strategy for digital platforms;
  • Develop a global content calendar in collaboration with members of the Bonjour Québec Digital Team, the MTO team, coalition stakeholders and other relevant partners;
  • Ensure content updates and creation of new pages for web platforms, respecting the editorial line and the Bonjour Québec brand, as well as ensuring the appropriate integration of content marketing campaigns in collaboration with various stakeholders;
  • Make recommendations to the Marketing Operations team on the various content and functionality of pages related to campaign projects;
  • Monitor website performance on search engines (SEO) and develop content optimization strategies and recommendations to improve performance within the digital ecosystem;
  • Assess and prioritize content creation and update requests for digital platforms from multiple Alliance partners;
  • Ensure the quality of the content published on all Bonjour Québec platforms (and experience platforms), in accordance with the standards of the Bonjour Québec Brand Guide in collaboration with members of the ENBQ team;
  • Monitor content usage statistics and suggest relevant actions to various stakeholders;
  • Develop work and collaboration processes and methodologies to make content production and distribution more efficient;
  • Take a role in coordinating and communicating with various actors involved in content delivery strategies: MTO survival consultants, digital team members, alliance marketing team, industry partners, etc.;
  • Collaborate with the web team to design UX deliverables, including new content pages and site information architecture so that it is simple and intuitive;
  • Contribute to the identification of business needs related to web content, social media, practices and news when developing new features and as part of the evolution of the Bonjour Québec digital ecosystem.

What sets you apart:

  • BAC in Communications, Journalism or any other related field
  • Experience: 3 to less than 5 years in content management
  • Experience: 5 to less than 8 years in the digital and editorial world
  • Knowledge of international tourist clients (an asset)
  • Oral and Written French – Excellent
  • Oral and Written English – Intermediate
  • Oral and written Spanish: an asset
  • Knowledge of the Office suite M365
