Communications and Marketing Coordinator | National Institute of Image and Sound (INIS)

Anees Looking for a competent and passionate person for the position of Communications and Marketing Coordinator for a period of 6 months, 35 hours/week, with possibility of renewal.

The coordinator reports to the Director of Communications and Marketing, and assists the team in carrying out many tasks to ensure the smooth running of projects.

Main responsibilities
Follow up production
The coordinator is following up to allow Lynes’ products to be broadcast at festivals and distributed on other platforms.

  • He/she obtains the required items from the various Linis departments (technical, software) and delivers them to the distributor.
  • He/she has the delivered items approved by the relevant stakeholders (management, students, etc.).

Follow Partnership
The coordinator assists the manager in monitoring the agreements negotiated with L’inis partners.

  • He supplies the partners with the elements required under the various agreements (logo, graphics, etc.).
  • He/she follows up on L’inis’ commitments to its partners (appearance, awarding of awards, etc.).

Event coordination
The coordinator, in collaboration with the team, organizes the various L’inis events.

  • He/she receives requests from different departments, validates needs and objectives.
  • Assigns tasks to collaborators.
  • Rooms are rented at L’inis or outside.
  • It maintains the services of much needed professionals (photographers, musicians, technicians, caterers, DJs, etc.).
  • Ensures promotion follow up (graphics requests, digital correspondence, mailing list, rsvp management, etc.).

Monitor advertising campaigns
The coordinator assists the team in planning and executing the various advertising campaigns for L’inis.

  • Participates in the thinking of campaigns and the realization of communication and marketing plans.
  • Coordinates and follows up with selected professionals for the implementation of campaigns (graphic designer, agency, service providers, etc.).

Administrative follow-up
The coordinator supports the department’s management in managing the budget.

  • It collects invoices, receipts and statements from professionals and service providers under contract, or from platforms that L’inis subscribes to.
  • He writes invoices in accordance with the administrative rules of the Authority.
  • He coordinates between the Communications and Marketing Department and the Administration Department.

Other related tasks
The coordinator performs other tasks that allow the completion of the department’s projects.

  • Runs team project management software.
  • He coordinates the daily meeting.
  • The Digital Communications Project Manager helps publish items on our website and social networks, or does the job.
  • It searches for images in internal or external banks to illustrate site web pages or training advertisements.
  • Performs other tasks assigned by him/her to the manager.

Required profile
The ideal candidate must have completed a college diploma or bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, management, or any other field of study relevant to the position.

  • Has relevant experience in project coordination and/or management, particularly in the cultural field;
  • Has excellent knowledge of written and spoken French;
  • He loves to work in a small team, sometimes under pressure, in order to deliver projects on sometimes tight deadlines, while being responsible. He/she is proactive and offers solutions.
  • Knowledge of the film and television industry in Quebec is an asset;

working conditions
This is a job that requires occasional availability outside of normal business hours. The inis team is currently carrying out the work in mixed mode (face to face and remote work). The remuneration will be determined in accordance with the applicable salary policy, taking into account the experience, skills and qualifications of the selected person.
