TikTok Launches University of Creative Agency Partnerships (CAP University)

Traditional marketing strategies are no longer as effective as they used to be due to the speed with which social networks are evolving. And with the constant changes on different platforms and the huge mass of users, especially on TikTok, finding the right approach to success can be challenging.

This is the reason for launching TikTok Agency for Creative Agency Partnerships (CAP University)A new tutorial for agencies and independent content creators to maximize their marketing strategies on the platform.

This fully customized virtual TikTok tutorial allows participants to:

  • Choose the courses they wish to study;
  • determine their programme;
  • Attend sessions during business hours.

According to TikTok:

CAP University’s goal is to inspire next-level creative content on the world’s fastest growing entertainment platform. (…) The most important thing is that registrants have a new understanding of the creative possibilities on and off the platform.”.

The program is divided into 5 sessions

For the first semester, the program is divided into 5 sessions:

  • Tik Tok 101. This session presents the basic statistics and data that all agencies should know to refer their clients;
  • TikTok: From Briefing to Presentation. This session explains how to share and communicate ideas that are tailored to the platform and require a different strategy than other marketing channels. ;
  • Design and creation of TikTok. This section captures trends, patterns, and lessons from the past year. It summarizes TikTok’s best practices for informing design and creativity based on its core principles. ;
  • Musical directions and licenses. This part reveals the anatomy of a trend, and explains how to look at these trends and how to respond to them with agility. As TikTok positions itself as a player in the music industry, this session also answers the most frequently asked questions about music licensing;
  • Collaborate with creators. Creators are the cornerstone of the platform. This part teaches the basics of working with creators and highlights his original tool: the TikTok Creator Marketplace.

A great way to develop your skills on TikTok

This new TikTok initiative has two interesting aspects:

  • This helps train content creators, who in turn will open doors for agencies, companies and marketers which will allow them to be in a better position with regard to content;
  • This is a smart way to respond to developments in Meta to promote a short video and thus attract more and more creators monetizing their content.

Classes will be offered as live webinars, so that attendees can learn from anywhere. They also have the option to sign up for a live session during business hours. During these sessions, it is possible to ask individual questions about the platform, your agency’s strategies, trends, and more. Or at other points that you don’t control.

This new tutorial could be a great way to develop your skills on TikTok, with direct input from the platform’s creative team.
