Finances News Hebdo: First of all, tell us about the international trade fair for digital business transformation, which is just getting started, and what is its purpose?
Said Zagary: EMEC Expo is already in its second edition. It is an event dedicated to the company’s digital transformation, dedicated to e-marketing, e-commerce, hosting, cloud, mobile internet, social networking and digital display. The show responds to the urgent need for companies to commit to digital transformation by allowing them to discover the latest technologies that are revolutionizing the world as well as tools and solutions that will enable them to better equip themselves to face this change that is now required.
FNH: What can EMEC exhibit for young entrepreneurs?
SZ: Young entrepreneurs can find inspiration, new ideas and new business models. Partners and investors who can help them develop and reach new markets, as well as useful and appropriate answers and solutions to develop or create their business.
FNH: A year ago, you created the innovative solutions HipMeal and HipSmile. What are they and what role can they play?
SZ: HipMeal is an anti-food waste platform where you can find international delicacies and meet new people while protecting our environment and fighting poverty! The solution is unique in that it connects people to each other and provides them with a direct connection where they can share food or invite each other. Regarding HipSmile, it is a mobile application that allows the giving and receiving of goods and services in various categories such as health, education, physical goods, volunteer work or others. Its purpose is to connect people in need and who want to donate while respecting their dignity.
FNH: The company’s digital transformation has been a necessity during the pandemic. Do you share this point of view and what observation are you making today?
SZ: Digital transformation was a no-brainer, the pandemic has speeded things up. My conclusion is that the work done so far needs to be stabilized, improved and strengthened. Many companies and departments have been forced to act quickly and find solutions. These are sometimes inappropriate or do not cover all needs. I can cite an example from my own experience. To this end, the Rokhass service allows you to complete an order online, but unfortunately it is not possible to pay online. Also the form is not user friendly and the file upload service is not working, which caused me a problem.
FNH: Digital is an essential tool in the field of entrepreneurship. How can it be used wisely to develop or improve a project?
SZ: Digitization is a trend. Companies have already done this or started. But the tools and techniques used must be evaluated. If the solution is not suitable or does not meet the needs, it should be replaced and seek help from experts in this field. Quick and easy solutions can cause a lot of problems and be costly. They can even take a business out of business. Additionally, companies need to consider both security and non-functional needs, such as usability and responsiveness.
FNH: Why is it important today to invest in social apps and what can they tangibly offer society?
SZ: Companies have already realized that investing in social apps offers many advantages. As a result, the image of the company or brand is strengthened and the reputation of the company is improved. This attracts new customers including individuals who are interested in understanding their savings and spending. In times of crisis and war, investments in sustainable, social and environmental development are highly profitable, stable and can do very well. Another important point is related to tax benefits. To this end, companies can deduct these expenditures and investments from the tax authorities and then take advantage of the tax benefits. In addition, employees will become more involved in these companies and will be proud to be a part of them.
FNH: Based on your experience in the technology field, how do you intend to pass on your expertise to the new generation?
SZ: I am fortunate to have trained in IT in Germany and obtained many certifications over the past 20 years. In addition to this, she has held various positions in many fields such as Industry, Banking and Insurance where she gained a lot of experience. I can pass this knowledge on to young people, give them advice and train them. Furthermore, in my current company, I am training 7 computer science interns. I have created two start-up companies. As a result, I can help young people by giving them direction and helping them make decisions. If my plans come to fruition, I plan to create a computer training center that will focus on technologies needed by the market and not just on awarding diplomas. I also intend to create some kind of Start-up Factory. One thing is for sure, I am always happy to make my personal contribution and when young people ask me for advice and advice, I am happy to answer their requests. Knowledge makes it known and communicates it, not the other way around.
