We are Founders: Open Call for Applications

BeCentral, Google, Bruxelles Formation and BeAngels are launching the second edition of We Are Founders, a 9-month training program for future entrepreneurs.

The second edition of We Are Founders is in progress. To do this, the program invites aspiring candidates. Registrations are open until 1Verse Midnight June.

We Founder 9 is a less intense program that allows people to develop an entrepreneurial project, from idea to completion. Thanks to the many partners and business contacts, participants will be able to receive advice and raise funds. A unique experience open to all. The aim is to stimulate entrepreneurship, especially among women.

In addition to personal support and entrepreneurship expertise, the training provides unlimited access to BeCentral’s digital campus, making its entire ecosystem accessible to future ‘founders’.

Google will also offer its digital marketing expertise via Google Digital Atelier training courses as well as more specific content from Google for startups.

Who can participate?

Registration is open to everyone on their site. The only selection criteria are motivation, ambition and feasibility of the project. No diploma or capital is required initially. Thanks to its partnership with Bruxelles Formation, job seekers can maintain their social benefits and benefit from the training bonus throughout this course. The program starts on September 15, 2022.

Stream’Her, what is it?

renal: I founded Stream’Her two years ago with the goal of highlighting the role of women in live broadcasting. Join me Ilaria in April 2021. Our content is very diverse. In addition to highlighting these women, we organize training sessions with the cities of Brussels and Antwerp. We train women in live broadcasting, video and digital marketing. We also create events such as tournaments, sometimes with stores where customers are invited to try to stream to win prizes.

Ellaria: We are also trying to democratize broadcasting.

What note did you start with to founding Stream’Her?

renal: During the first shutdown, I started getting interested in Twitch. I quickly realized that I only came across men. There are only 2 or 3 women in the top 100 players and 35% of the women are on the podium. Stream’Her aims to encourage women to get started on Twitch and thus have role models.

Ellaria: Stream’Her serves as a meeting place for female streamers. It’s easier to collaborate this way.

What did the founders give you?

Ellaria: We the founders gave us confidence in our project. This helped us make the right strategic choices. This also made the project more realistic.

renal: Thanks to the program’s reputable collaborators, it has given us credibility. Brands are very keen on this, since these collaborators trusted us, it means that we are serious and our project is not just an old project.

What will you say to registrants in the future?

ellaria : The project does not progress by staying alone in its corner. It is important to encounter it in a stimulating environment and we are established to offer this possibility.

renal: This is the best thing if you want to take your project much further. These nine months give us the opportunity to focus full time on our project. And the network that we create, between peers or collaborators.
