INTERVIEW: Three years later, lesBigBoss’ La Summer edition finally came out in person, much to the delight of digital decision makers!

We interviewed Herve Bloch, founder of BigBoss Events: Linkedin Reality, as our colleague from Capital Magazine pointed out in 2018,…This influential community brings together key digital decision-makers each year through immersive event formats where business, content, networking…

Impact: Hi Hervey, could you introduce yourself to Influenth readers and tell them your background?

Herve: Hi, I am 46 years old and have 3 children. I’ve been a dinosaur on the web since I worked there at the end of the 90’s when this market was born and I’m still there 25 years later…

Very quickly I understood The power of networks I leverage my professional network to perform work in the digital world at both IBM (the IT giant), Nexint (a digital access start-up I co-founded), Emailvision (Saas marketing solutions automation) or Come & Stay (performance) agency Marketing).

After creating several communities: Net Workers and Internet Managers Club, I launched a Web TV for digital decision makers And after I published 400 interviews, I told myself that it was necessary to bring all these beautiful people together via a skiing event … We are in 2013 and Fernand Bonneve, coach of Jean-Claude Doss at Les Bronzés Font du Ski just passed away … Then I decided to call on my occasion big boss Go ski! This style reigns supreme, and the following summer, I’m chartering a plane to Fuerteventura.

Since then, I have organized more than 150 events, hired more than 50 employees, raised more than 6000 decision makers and raised €18 million from Montefiore Investment.

Effect: It’s very impressive! How did you deal with the health crisis?

Herve: On the first booking in March 2020, we made the decision right away Digitizing our formats. I have sifted through all the solutions on the market and chose the most relevant one, in particular to run one-on-one affinity meetings: Vimeet’s solution

Finally, at the end of 2020, we acquired a majority stake in the share capital of the company publishing the solution. So the health crisis pushed us to digitize. But let’s be clear: Face-to-face event coordination is much more powerful from a relational point of view… When we had no choice, we deployed all our coordination remotely but as of the second half of 2021 we resumed face-to-face.

Impact: So for you, face to face is the only possible way?

Herve: We say in the kingdom of the blind, one eye is kings… for lack of good we spread Distance Formats But they don’t have the same relational flavor. On the other hand, we decided to introduce a digital interface called Bigboss365 to energize our communities throughout the year and allow decision makers to organize video-on-demand sessions with service providers that suit their current short-term needs. Therefore it is necessary to take advantage of two approaches: physical events To create links and integrate an influential community and digital interaction To meet immediate needs and maintain a lasting link with ecosystems.

Impact: You’re organizing your popular summer edition this week, can you tell us more?

Herve: Yes indeed this Friday we will gather in Greece in the Olympia region nearly 700 key decision makers and digital players for a crazy weekend. The Business Board, Content, and Triple Networks will be the date of this fifteenth authorship face-to-face.

For business, a minimum of 7,000 face-to-face dating encounters… On the content side, we’ll run a “learning expedition” workshop on the Metaverse… And finally, on the networking side, it’s 3 days in total immersion To foster relational exchanges from boat trips to evenings, including idle moments around the pool…

Our formats are highly Manish: We invite decision makers from ETIs and large accounts with short-term projects to publish and associated budgets around digital acceleration and offer service providers to take care of our formats. From one version to the next, we will monitor the data business to ensure ROI (return on investment) for our participants while providing ROE (return on emotion) and ROT (return on time)…

Impact: Who are the headlines?

Herve: Our token jury: Somaya Hajali Chief Digital Officer at EME at Sephora and a distinguished jury made up of digital personalities from Altarea Cogedim, Amorino, Burton, Capfi, Cdiscount, Class’Croute, Club Med, Dericheourg, Disneyland Paris, Effy, Eramet, Habitat, IKKS, Interflora, LVMH, Monoprix, Ovoyages, PointS, Servier and even Qatar Airways.

This jury makes up the upper class, and thus is influential at its peak!

Impact: We heard about a social initiative, can you tell us more?

Herve: You are well informed! In fact, I have a guest of honor from the world of associations. This is Nicolas Rossignol, founding president of Tout Le Monde contre le Cancer, which creates hospital-related procedures to bring moments of joy to children with cancer.

I had invited Nicola during the first summer edition in 2014 and coordination made it possible to collect her Over a million euros in donations in kind to the association. I would like to repeat this feat again this year. Because yes, Impact also makes it possible to serve good causes by allowing them to tap into the soundboard of an event that brings together high-level decision makers.

In 2018, on the occasion of the tenth opus, we introduced a revolutionary pair of glasses to a blind person who was able to see for the first time thanks to technology! We were very proud of this initiative because the technology is effective but it is very expensive.

Impact: How Your Event Is Influencer Marketing

Herve: Bringing together so many influential decision makers allows, in my opinion, to spread marketing innovations and allow peers to take the lead. New topics, especially those about web 3 : Metaverse, Cryptocurrencies, NFT… About NFT We will offer each participant a unique digital work that in the coming months may be worth what the Singe Group is worth.

Effect: But are there places left?

Herve: Very good question! Not officially, but we never turn down the influential decision makers (guests of the big bosses)… On the service provider side (the sponsoring partner), we have been ‘all sold out’ for a long time but if one of the latecomers wants to get involved we can look at the importance of their solution and if it complies With the expectations of decision makers, we will find a solution …

Impact: Who do you contact?

Herve: On the part of decision maker Matteo Cimino and on the part of service provider Vincent Guinard, but honestly act too fast!

Effect: Thank you Herve! See you in Greece then!
